At Christmas time our Greenhouses are transformed into a sea of red with over 40,000 of our home grown Poinsettias. In our Gift Shop you’ll always see an interesting selection of decorative items for your home or gift-giving. We stock The Thymes Limited bath lotions and soaps, Yankee Candle samplers and jars, Lang cards boxes and candles, Sweet Shop chocolates, Aromatique pot pourri and room fragrances and tapestries and throws by Manual Wood workers. New merchandise is always arriving.

Silk designs for your wall and tabletop, in every color and theme are available for your selection. Our silk designer is always ready and willing to fill custom orders so bring in your color swatches! Jane is busy in the kitchen baking for our home-made cookie bouquets.

Chicagoland Area Interior Plant Rental/Maintenance

Our interior plant-rental/maintenance department provides professional care and maintenance of blooming and foliage plants for your office anywhere in the Chicagoland area. We grow many of our own plants including Easter lilies, poinsettias. azaleas and geraniums. We carry an extensive variety of foliage: spath (spathiphyllum), alocasia, anthurium aralia, mums, cyclamen, dracrena, palms, braided ficus, philodendron, pothos, schefflera and much more. Chicagoland Wholesale Plants/Fundraisers

Our Wholesale Department services the Chicagoland area and the far western suburbs. We grow our own Easter Lilies, Geraniums, Poinsettias and other blooming plants. Fundraising is a fact of life for non-profit organizations, churches, schools, teams and clubs! Schaefer’s Greenhouse, Florist & Garden Center offers flower fundraisers for your group. You’ll get great prices on poinsettias for winter fundraisers and a variety of annuals in the spring.
